I'm guessing a large red lump of Cummins

What ever the stock engine is for that size truck. If it's an International, one of their DT engines. When you are armored like that, you don't need to be fast.

Very unlikely. Cummins ISBs were just announced as being available in DuraStars last month. desertdog's got it, likely a DT inline-6 or possibly a VT V8 (aka 6.0L & 6.4L Power Stroke)

Yep, probably a DT466/MaxxForce DT or a MaxxForce 9 inline-6, or possibly a VT365 or MaxxForce 7 V8, aka PowerStroke 6.0L & 6.4L.

So something like this in the international http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navistar_… . Didn't get a look at the make of the other truck

Exactly. Navistar is International's parent company, and the ones who used to supply Ford with diesel V8s in the F-Series.

The other truck, the Loomis one? It's also an International DuraStar, same as the Brinks one. The blobby-triangle side marker on the fender is a giveaway.
